LOST

Bismillah,

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, All-Praised and Thanks to Allah SWT as He still nourish us with Islam and Iman.
This post is a short and brief as it is a reminder to myself and you.

Allah is the All-Mighty God who knows and controls everything in this world and in the world of unseen. In the Surah Al-An'am, ayat 55:

And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.

Hence, if you are in grieve about something that you have lost, which is dear to you such as lost of someone's soul, things, wealth and even health.

One has to realize that Allah owns everything, In Bukhari (3/120) and Muslim:
Prophet SAW said: Allah owns what He has taken and owns what He gives, and everything He has is with a fixed timing. Order her to have patience and to look for Allah's reward.

Everything has its appointed time, and whatever that we have no control of, we have to be patient and the rewards that Allah will gives are:
1) Accordance to the trial. Proof: The magnitude of the reward goes along with the magnitude
of the affliction (Tirmidhi)
2) Expiation of sins. No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it even though it were the prick he receives from a thron. (Bukhari).
3) Allah intends good on His slave. Anyone for whom Allah intends good, He makes him suffer from some affliction. (Bukhari)
4) The punish because of the slave sins here is much less worse than that in the Hereafter. When Allah intends good for His slave, He punishes him in this world, but when He intends an evil for His slave, He does not hasten to take him to task but calls him to accound on the Day of Resurrection. (Tirmidhi).

There are more narrations that what can I offer about rewards for the patience in the time of affliction, but, there is one condition:

Patience is only at the first (stroke) of grief. (Muttafaqun A'laihi, ie Bukhari and Muslim)

Jazakallahu khair,
Wallahu A'lam.
