Do Deeds!

Bismillah,

Assalamualaikum ikhwan, akhowat, muslimin, muslimat,

A quick reminder that I heard from Syeikh Muhammad Al-Shareef that I thought would benefit us all. The ayah was explained from the syeikh but the wordings are not exact. Most of them are from my own wordings but still are within the same meaning.

Surah At-Tawbah, ayah 105,

وَقُلِ اعْمَلُواْ فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَـلِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَـدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

(105. And say "Do deeds! Allah will see your deeds, and (so will) His Messenger and the believers. And you will be brought back to the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. Then He will inform you of what you used to do.'')

We have learnt to be good to other human, to have manners with families, friends, visitors, and other human beings in general.

We were thought to pray at the earliest time, to practice the supplication in the morning and evening, to give charity in time of hardship and easy, to learn the deen when the opportunity is given and cannot use it as an excuse during the Judgement Day because of ignorance and don't backbitting (mengumpat).

We have grew old, probably 20 years now, and acquire a lot of knowledge. We have the means to improve with money, good company, time, health and reason.

But yet, we are really failing to DO the DEEDS! From the ayah, Allah SWT will see your deeds. Even you know a lot of things and asked people to do what you have said without having the thirst to change in your intention, it is not what Allah, the Messenger SAW and the believers will look at. We can speak, complaint and asked people to do good things and correct others all day long, but without actions pertaining to it, what is if for then?

We say we want to read books during summer, but yet, how many books have we read? Don't wait, JUST GO AND DO IT!

We say we want to memorize some of the surahs from the Holy Quran, but yet, how many verses have we memorized? Don't complaint that we do not have time, JUST TAKE THE MUSHAF AND MEMORIZE NOW!

WAKE UP MY DEAR FRIENDS!! WAKE UP!!

DON'T REGRET HOW MUCH TIME WE HAVE WASTED DURING SUMMER HOLIDAYS when IT IS THE TIME TO MEET ALLAH!!
